Geeta Chaudhary is a lawyer and social worker serving as Minister for Agriculture, Livestock Development, Forest and Environment. Born in Shuklaphanta Municipality, Kanchanpur, she holds a master's degree in law from Nepal Law Campus. She is the first Tharu woman from the far-western region to hold a federal cabinet position. She co-founded the Maryada Foundation, served as a founding member of Youth Advocacy Nepal, and held the vice presidency of the Tharu Student Society. She was elected through the RSP proportional representation list under the Tharu female cluster in 2026.
