Laxmi Prasad Pokharel

Biography

Laxmi Prasad Pokharel is a veteran UML politician from Dailekh District. He began his political career in the early 1990s, serving as chairman of his village development committee in 2049 BS and later becoming a member of the Constituent Assembly in 2070 BS. He is a member of the UML politburo. Pokharel won the Dailekh‑2 constituency by more than four thousand votes in the 2082 election.
